Dark Platinum Opaline

This is the newest mutation I produce. The Dark Platinum Opaline. I have seen this mutation in the ringnecks, the gouldians, and others. However, so far, there are no true platinum in the peachface and their mutation. This is the first time I have seen it. How it happens, I am not sure. However, I will try to reproduce it again and see where it takes me. This is a new mutation and I am not sure when I will make this mutation available to the public.

1/28/10 was when this picture was taken about 3 weeks old.

2/3/10 was when this picture was taken about 4 weeks old.

2/6/10 was when this picture was taken about 4.5 weeks old.

2/20/10 was when this picture was taken about 2.5 weeks old.

New pictures will be coming soon. I am just waiting for the mate. I have it DNA and will find out what it is soon.
